L.B.S. Alt Color Schemes

Color schemes are the thing I struggle with most when it comes to drawing, which is why most of my work is done in a sketchbook with just a pencil. When it comes time for me to colorize what i draw I tend to falter, because i have a tendency to want to pour as much color as I can into a piece. I guess it comes from me being so childish (fnarr fnarr) but I like vibrant, contrasting, overloads of color.

So when it came time to pick a color scheme for the main picture, I originally wanted it to be pink. But I found that pink lacked a lot of weight and so It ended up being a red rose-ish type scheme.

While I do like that scheme, it looked pretty monotonous (to me at least) so I edited the picture a couple times with different color schemes for the same costume. This is the result!

"Rose" - The original design, with reds, maroons, and purples, contrasted by silvers and golds
"Frost" - Mainly baby blue, accented by baby pinks and silvers. I guess you could say these are the more "traditional" baby colors.
"Emerald" - Green and white, highlighted by the character's darker skin tone.
"Sting" - Bumblebee colors! Thick yellow, contrasting blacks, and purple highlight hair.
